Xperts Council is a fast-growing and international start-up that connects the most investment firms, global consulting firms, and corporates with high-level professionals for industry phone consultations, senior advisory missions, and Independent Board Members recruitment. 

Headquartered in Paris, the company has grown offices in London, Bangalore, and most recently, in Porto, where the core of our operations have been set up and where we are looking to expand our ever-growing team of consultants.

We pride ourselves in hiring and training a talented and multicultural team of consultants, coming from the best business schools and universities across Europe and who are given key responsibilities such as client relationship management and account management from the get-go.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing your own team of 3-4 consultants, ensuring that each team member keeps to company KPIs and targets
  • Supporting the COO in the training and development of the team, contributing to both the delivery as well as supporting junior staff in their development within the company, providing actionable and constructive feedback. 
  • Building lasting relationships with our existing client base of funds and consulting firms, mapping out the teams, and potential leads. Looking after your own teams’ account portfolio and ensuring the end-to-end success of each project from both a delivery and a relationship perspective.
  • Working alongside the Sales team and COO to make sure that trial projects are executed to the highest standard. 
  • Playing a key role in employee retention and recruitment of new joiners.
  • Being proactive in identifying opportunities for growth and suggesting projects which will improve processes, systems, and working alongside the COO and other management to materialize. 

What we expect of you: 

  • Prior experience in an expert network and proven track record of successful management of primary research projects
  • Prior experience in managing teams
  • A good undergraduate degree in languages and/or business. Masters desired. 
  • Fluency in English (C1 Minimum)
  • A second language (Portuguese, French or German preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy, tenacity, coachability and creative thinking
  • Goal-driven and the ability to see the bigger picture
