Air Livery, with a turnover of 19 million EUR in 2018-19 and 170 employees, paints aircraft at five sites in the United Kingdom and one in Slovakia. The company handles over 200 medium and long-haul aircraft per year and business jets, mainly for British companies.

Last year, one of our clients mandated us to provide experts to help understand current trends in volumes and price in the market as well as underlying macroeconomic factors. The requirement then narrowed to current outsourcing trends and finally the maturity of automation in painting and how this can impact the players in the market.

Within days, Xperts Council was able to present several relevant executives from different major airlines and international aerospace companies. These experts provided our client with accurate and decisive information increasing their understanding of the market.

In October 2018, Satys Group (3,000 employees, €170 million turnover in 2017) completed their acquisition of Air Livery from the Indian group Air Works in order to strengthen the Group’s after-market painting business.

Satys already has dedicated warehouses in Le Bourget near Paris, the Netherlands, Morocco and China and will open one in Dubai at the end of 2019 for long-haul flights.
